1. Background
In the current digital environment, organizations require multi-layered security solutions to protect their networks from a wide range of threats such as malicious websites, ads, trackers, and potential intrusions. CLIENT seeks to introduce a comprehensive network security solution that will be further pitched to CLIENT corporate clients which includes DNS-based ad-blocking, Intrusion Detection/Prevention System, and URL filtering.

2. Nature of the Project
This project aims to deploy a security solution that offers:
• DNS-based filtering for ads, trackers, and malicious domains.
• Intrusion detection and prevention through deep packet inspection.
• URL filtering to control access to specific categories of websites.
The selected vendor will provide the hardware-based infrastructure, manage the solution, and share the revenue generated from users subscribing to the service. The solution should cover small, medium, and large-scale networks, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and security.

3. Scope of Work
The vendor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Provide and deploy the solution on hardware-based infrastructure on 03 core locations. Space and Power will be CLIENT responsibility.
2. Install and configure the solution in CLIENT premises and configuration of individual corporate client(s) time to time who will opt for this service.
3. Integrate the following components:
o DNS-based ad and tracker blocking.
o Network intrusion detection and prevention system.
o URL filtering for restricting access to specific web categories
4. Ensure continuous monitoring, maintenance, and updates to the system, including updating blocklists, IDS/IPS signatures, and proxy configurations.
5. Provide 24/7 technical support for managing network-related issues and troubleshooting system problems.
6. Uptime 99.99%, RPO <5 mins, RTO <15 mins, failover <30 secs. Daily config backups (30-day retention), real-time log backups (12-month retention), monthly DR tests.
7. Offer scalability to accommodate growing user demand, ensuring the system can handle high traffic loads and an increasing number of clients.
8. Implement real-time traffic monitoring and reporting, allowing network administrators to view blocked requests, and security alerts.
