Finviz Screener Development
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a skilled developer to create a custom Finviz Breakout screener for me. The screener should incorporate specific financial metrics and technical indicators. Ideally, the custom screener will mimic the results found on GorillaTrades. I used to use the GorillaTrades service and created a custom screener using another service called StockFetcher to validate my GorillaTrades picks. Unfortunately, I no longer subscribe to StockFetcher and don't have access to my custom screener. I'm rather busy now and don't have time to research how to create the same screener adapted to Finviz.
There are multiple resources to enable more rapid and robust development of the screener. reddit and YouTube have LOTS of examples of Breakout Screeners. While they may not mimic the results of GorillaTrades, they provide a quick shortcut to begin development. From the custom screener I developed on StockFetcher, I used an Ascending Triangle indicator. The stocks were “triggered” for buying when they break out above this pattern. Another important difference to GorillaTrades’ strategy is that it relies heavily on confirmation of the breakout with a volume signal. In many cases, traders are advised to wait until a breakout is confirmed by above-average trading volume to begin buying a stock pick.
