Film Database Curation - SEE Countries, Greece & Romania

Hi there, we are looking for 1 to 3 people who have specific South East Europe (SEE), Greece and Romania Country language skills, due to our imminent expansion into this region in Europe, who would like to join our wonderful team. As well as Greece and Romania, the specific SEE countries we need to cover are: Albania Bosnia & Herzegovina Kosovo Macedonia Montenegro Serbia Slovenia MX Films is a studio-official film database that makes it easy for cinemas to get official marketing materials for the films that they are playing. We work directly with studios and film distributors to collect film meta-data and media and make those available to cinemas around the world. While there are other film databases available online, ours is the only one that integrates into the websites, mobile apps, kiosks, and signage, of major cinema chains and hundreds of independent cinemas around the world. This role is responsible for: - regularly checking film release schedules in their respective country and ensuring that that film exists in our database - reviewing the films as they get closer to their release date to ensure we have up to date media and all relevant data entered - communicating with film studios and distributors to obtain missing media when needed - only those that answer "popcorn" as their favorite food below will be considered - entering film information into our database - responding promptly to customer queries The ideal candidate is: - a huge movie and film lover. The more you know, the better. - wanting to become part of a team and work with us for a long time - this is not a temporary gig - extremely detail oriented - a perfectionist. - experienced in data entry. - comfortable with very basic graphic editing and cropping - a great communicator - industry experience is not essential, but if you have worked in the movie industry, you'll be very familiar with the terminologies and references. It would be helpful it the successful applicant lives in or near the SEE countries, to be able to respond in a timely fashion to Distributor requests. But in this day and age, that’s a very secondary requirement. We’ll look at any applicant, from anywhere on this planet! But... you must be fluent in at least 2-3 of the SEE languages. Please don’t waste your time – and ours – if this group of language(s) is not within your own skillset/ you can both speak and write. Also to be clear, if will be unrealistic to think I could find a single person who can cover these languages. Willing to be pleasantly surprised though!
