This is going to be a two-part project. My client is a start-up business: 1) data scraping of multiple websites and 2) building a macro to export the data into preferably an Excel/CSV format along with appropriate documentation so that my client can easily access and analyze the data.
I would prefer that the web scraper is designed to work with extracting data from many different types of websites, including any changes or updates to the website should not be a problem. No data cleansing is required after web scraping.
The code should be well-written, organized and easy to maintain. Security measures should be taken while collecting and storing the data to ensure the security of the information collected.
Qualifications:
- Experience in web scraping is required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial for this project.
- Knowledge of web scraping tools and techniques is required.
- Familiarity with spreadsheet software is necessary for organizing and managing the extracted data.
