A simple web scraper to get cruise info
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a web scraper that will go to this site, https://www.cruisemapper.com/cruise-lines, scrape all the cruise line names, format these names in alphabetical order then allow me to select the companies I want to scrape data from. Then go and scrape all of the ship names and itineraries for the companies I select for the next 6 months.
To clarify, go to the above page, You will see a large list of cruise companies. I want this list imported so I can then pick which companies I want to gather their data. So now, click on Celebrity Cruise Lines. The page that loads will show every ship they have (there are multiple pages here) and I need you to scrape all the ship names and itineraries listed for each ship for at least the next 6 months to a year.
Then take all this data, formatted in either an xml or csv file which will allow me to import it into our database. The hard part, (I think) would be when I run this scraper monthly, to have it only import data that has NOT already been imported before. I do not want duplicate information loaded in our database.
In the above example for Celebrity Cruise Lines, now that you have the list of their ship names up, click on Itineraries under the Celebrity Beyond. Here you will see all of the cruises listed for the Beyond sorted by Date. It lists, Date Itinerary Departure Port and Price. I do not need pricing information!
Please DO NOT bid if you do not understand what is required. Too many times I have gotten a bid from someone only to find out the bid was not enough and you raise the price. I don't like that and feel what you bid is what you are to be paid.
I want this built with a web interface preferably in php/mysql.
