I am looking for a freelancer who can help me with a website scraping project. I need to scrape text data from a specific website that I will provide the URL for. The data will be fire danger ratings for given geographical areas. I don’t need to see every area, so do need to be able to specify the geographical areas to notify me on.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in web scraping techniques and tools
- Experience in extracting text data from websites
- Familiarity with the Pushover notification system
- Strong understanding of data handling and management
The scraped data should be sent to Pushover on a daily basis. This means that the freelancer should be able to set up a system that automatically sends the scraped data to Pushover every day. My preference is a script that can be run on a Linux server.
