Webscraping websites to capture the products they sell and prices
Budget: $250 – $750 NZD
I am looking for a freelancer who can create a tool to allow me to scrape specific websites to capture the products they sell and prices. The ideal candidate should have experience in web scraping, data cleaning and organization, and the ability to output data in a CSV file format or something similar. The specific websites can be provided, and the data should be clean and organized into product categories. So perhaps some smart logic in the background to help categorise products as each website would have their own descriptions would be great.
I am open to either getting a new webscraper created for specific websites, or using an existing tool like octoparse, etc. to create something for me. I'd like the tool to be flexible and simple enough to allow me to scrape additional websites after the project is completed myself in case I want to add a few more websites to the list preferably.
Preference is to keep the setup cost low, and minimal to no maintenance work or ongoing costs but flexibility to make changes in the future without things getting complex. Someone who can demonstrate experience with this would be ideal for this job.
For a start their might by a handful of websites that I'd like to scrape but with thousands of products still.
