Webscraping Football Statistics

Job ID: 36313944

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

I would like to scrape some of the information contained in the website sofascore.com.

To explain what I need I pick as an example the game between Valencia and Villareal played on the 22/05/2017. I am interested in all the information that appears under all the tabs in "player statistics" (the tabs are called "summary", "attack", "defence", "passing", "duels" and "goalkeeper"). See attached image. I would also like to have information about the match (home team, away team, final score, day of the match, referee). See the excel file attached for the proposed output.

I would like to have all this information for all the matches of the laliga (Spain), serieA (Italy) and Bundesliga (Germany) played starting in season 15/16 up to season 21/22 (included). In total there are 6396 pages to be scraped. One problem with scraping this website is that the URL always redirects you to the latest match played between the two teams. The only way I am able to access old games is by going to the general page for the league and then click on the year of interest (for laliga this is the link https://www.sofascore.com/tournament/football/spain/laliga/8)

I will be interested in data for competitions when this work is delivered. I am happy to become a repeat buyer if the output is satisfactory.

Thank you,
Federico
