Web scraping of screenshots from mapping portals
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
This is a project to automate current document creation using webscraping.
We currently analyse lands by searching in geoportal and google earth for specific lands referred to us. The process required is as follows:
1) required action is to parse in a land number to geoportal, apply various settings in the website and then capture screenshots for export to Word (or similar). IN same process capture some specific data strings from within elements on the webpage.
2) capture the land gps from geoportal and then load this in google maps. load a project in google maps and take some screenshots of the gps coordinate.
3) use the gps coordinate to run a pdf report from a website called GSA atlas.
4) save the screenshot word document and PDF document to a cloud location.
