Web scraping for a large amount of data

I need a large amount of sports data scraped from a website. You can either code a scraping tool for me or do the actual scraping, but if the latter, it still needs to be with some automated method because this involves many thousands of pages. The scraping process should be unintrusive not to cause any issues to the website. The data needs to be neatly collected into an Excel spreadsheet.
