Web parser - get and structure multiple tables per page as well as other structured text
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
we have a long list of spec html pages - 1 per product. on the spec page we have a typical summary of the product and then we have feature/benefits and then some tables and at the bottom some industries that the product is related to. Attached is an image of the parts we care about.
1- the feature benefit. in excel we want the column to be the bold text and the value to be the non bold text
2- we need the table title as a group of columns, then each column would be the bold label on left, then we need the value to be the content on the right. (looks like this https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dw1w0Hj8vt3SxqZOzVb49bwqWSAS0apvI3-MDEGFAO0/edit?usp=sharing)
3- we need the industries. similar to #2 you can make the column group be something like "retail" and then the column can be the bullet point. then in the cell value we an do a yes. it would look like this google sheet linked above... notice on the right side.
parser should be run by you but we can get code and get it setup on a windows or ubuntu machine depending on what you write it in. The method for it working should be that we can give it a csv of urls and it will run and output a csv file for each url... the name of the output csv can be the url itself... this way we can keep things organized. might also be helpful to output a json file in addition to the csv... so lets plan on that for scope.
