Web Scrapping Sports Data
Budget: $30 – $150 AUD
The project requires years of sports data over countless competitions to be 'Web Scraped' off tables found in multiple locations within a single URL and converted into a format capable of being indexed and allows the data to be processed for analysis. In addition, the Web Scraper code will be required and must be adaptable enough to be used again in the future for ongoing 'download' of future competitions.
The tables are formatted very similarly and the same mouse click steps are required each time to travel between the result pages of each competition. This should be a fairly simple task given the proper skills and knowledge.
Specifically, this will require scraping data off the entire https://rowingmanager.com/au/ database, including all 8 of the tabs at the top of the calendar and every year available. This will most likely require a conversation with myself over zoom to explain what data points I will require and to what detail.
