Social media Scraper Objective: The primary objective of this project is to develop and deploy a web scraping solution to extract Facebook & Social media profiles based on requirements and rules. Data Sources: • Facebook business pages of some types professionals and on other social media platforms • Target business pages should be Beautician style businesses within the UK. • Business pages should have a “Recently Active” status (less than 6 months). • Business pages should have a non-business domain email, e.g. Hotmail or Gmail on their business page. Technical Requirements: • Set up automated workflows to regularly update and maintain the data. • Ensure compliance with Facebooks terms of service and data privacy regulations. • Integrate with a database (e.g., Google Sheets, Notion) to store and manage the extracted data. Skills Required: • Expertise in web scraping. • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript or Python. • Familiarity with Facebooks structure and other social media data privacy regulations. • Experience with integrating data into databases like Google Sheets or Notion. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
