Web Scraping Coder Needed to Gather Data from Website
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for an experienced web scraping coder to extract data from a specific website and ensure periodic updates to keep the data current. The goal is to gather data efficiently.
Project Requirements:
1. Scrape specific data fields, photos and files from a designated website.
2. Provide the extracted data in a structured format and store it in a MySQL/MariaDB database.
3. Implement error handling and data validation.
4. Ensure minimal impact on the website's performance during the scraping process.
5. Code shall periodically re-run the scraping process and update the data if there are any changes or new data available.
6. Download photos and files into a structured folder hierarchy.
7. Provide the following deliverables:
- A PHP or Bash script for scraping.
- A MySQL/MariaDB database with 25 scraped records.
- A folder structure with downloaded photos and files.
Deliverables:
