I'm in search of an experienced web scraper who can efficiently gather and provide information about every restaurant listed in New Zealand on TripAdvisor. While the specific data to be scraped was not predetermined, I would like at least the basic details like:
- Restaurant Name
- Address
- Phone Number
If you are capable of scraping additional information like rating, reviews, or pricing, that would be a welcome addition, but is not a strict requirement.
Ideal applicants should be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in web scraping, preferably with TripAdvisor or similar websites.
- A clear understanding of data extraction techniques and obstacles that could arise in the process.
- Reliable and efficient work, aiming to deliver accurate and organized data.
The data must be formatted and delivered in an Excel document. Thus proficiency with Excel and data organization is also needed.
