Script which runs from any OS, which combines multiple XSLX, scrub data from websites and generates combined XLSX file

My project is to develop a script which is able to run on any Operating System (OS), with a primary purpose of scrubbing data from multiple websites. The script should be able to combine multiple XLSX documents and also generate a combined XLSX file. I confirmed that the script should be able to grab data from multiple websites, and that it must be compatible with multiple Operating Systems.
