Rental Data Scraping Bot Development

Project Overview: This project aims to develop data-scraping bots that continuously collect rental information from four websites: RentFaster, RentBoard, Rentals.ca, and Zumper.

Project Scope:

Sprint 1: The scope is limited to Calgary, Canada.
Sprints 2 and 3: The scope expands to all of Canada.

The scraping bots will extract the following data from each listing:

Listing date
Address
Lease term
Property type
Rental price
Number of beds
Number of baths
Square feet
Furnishing status
Availability date
Smoking policy
Pets allowed (cats, dogs)
Sprint Deliverables:

Sprint 1: Initial Information Collection for Calgary (Due in 3 Days)

Provide all necessary data from RentFaster, RentBoard, Rentals.ca, and Zumper within Calgary, Canada.

Sprint 2: Scraping Bot for RentFaster and Zumper (Due in 1 Month)

Develop and deploy a bot that automatically collects data daily from RentFaster and Zumper across all of Canada.
Ensure that the scraped data includes all the required fields listed above. (Can be negotiated)
Provide a demo or documentation to demonstrate the bot’s functionality.

Sprint 3: Scraping Bot for RentBoard and Rentals.ca (Due in 1 Month)

Develop and deploy a bot that automatically collects data daily from RentBoard and Rentals.ca across all of Canada.
Ensure that the scraped data includes all required fields. (Can be negotiated)
Provide a demo or documentation to demonstrate the bot’s functionality.
Payment Terms:

Payment will be made upon the successful completion and delivery of each sprint.
