B2B Product Data Scraping
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I need to scrape product details and pricing information from a "registered user only" B2B online shop. The data is required only once, but may become more frequent in the future.
Requirements:
- Access to a "registered user only" B2B online shop (login-credentials are given from me)
- Ability to scrape product details and pricing information:
--- Product name
--- SKU
--- Sales Unit (box, kilogram, can, bag,...)
--- price per Sales Unit
--- price per item
--- price per Base unit (EUR/kg or EUR/piece or EUR/Liter for example)
- Deliver the data in CSV format
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency in web scraping tools and techniques
- Experience with handling access restrictions on websites
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Further informations & Example
Best approach is to do that automatically with a kind of bot.
After logging in to the shop you have the classic navigation by category or you can search. Ideally all categoriews are scraped one after one.
Attention: Avoid blocking! It is possible that there are system-alerts due to high traffic when crwaling all of the categories simultaneously...
The Shop if for restaurant-supplies. Means you will have food and non-food-products.
Food products are often not sold as single-item, but only as box/bag/whatever containing various single-items.
Example: A marmelade-glass. Glass contains 300g of marmelade. In one box (which is a sales-unit as you cannot buy a single glass) are 10 glasses.
One glass cost 1 EUR -> Sales Unit costs 10 EUR --> price per kg is 3,33EUR/kg
The prices are shown on the website - but for different prices you have to choose from a dropdown.
Example-images and url can be sent over via chat. Login only for winner of project.
Number of products is unknown, estimated around 15.000-20.000
