Desktop Repetitive Monitoring Bot

I need a small, self-contained reputation bot that can run directly on my computer (no cloud hosting). Its core job is to keep an eye on online mentions of a brand/keyword I define, alert me promptly, and store each alert locally so I can review everything in one place later.

The key points for the build:
• It must operate on Windows 10/11 without complex setup—an executable or simple script with clear launch instructions is preferred.
• Login credentials, API keys, or scraping settings should be editable from a single config file or GUI panel so I can add or update sources myself.
• The code should be clean, commented, and handed over in full, as I want to maintain or extend it internally.

If you have an existing framework or library in Python, Node.js, or another language that can speed development, I’m open to it as long as installation remains straightforward and everything runs locally. Please outline your proposed approach, the tools or APIs you plan to use (e.g., Tweepy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, etc.), and a rough delivery timeline when you bid.
