Data scraping project - EV battery pack data
Budget: £5 – £10 GBP
Project to collect data from eBay and other websites relating to used electric vehicle battery packs. Any script developed needs to:
• Ensure data is collected for full packs, and not modules which are to be excluded
• Automatically scrape data once new items are posted, or if not possible, be easily run manually (by someone with no programming experience)
• Store data in a google doc or excel doc for further analysis
• Store all available photos of packs onto a google drive or similar
This project will be in two phases. The first phase is a simplified approach (single website source to scrape, only one make for which data is to be collected) to create a baseline and ensure the quality of the data being collected meets requirements. The second phase expands on the first phase by including more vehicles and websites to scrape.
