Tasks:
- Web scraping URLs of website that will be placed in the catalog from other websites.
- Create text descriptions and screenshots of websites via AI services such as copy.ai and others.
- Create pages: Home page, Tool page, Catalog page, Admin page.
- Additional functionality: User login and registration, Comments, Multiple languages.
- It is desirable that you also do the design and markup using some UI kit.
Types of data:
URL. Based on web scraping of 12000 links to AI tools.
URL Category. Web scraping the category of each tool. Each tool can have several categories.
Preview image of a URL. Screenshot of a site/thumbnail is made via API like www.urlbox.com.
URL Description. Text description of a tool is created via API like www.copy.ai.
Pages:
- Home page. Contains a list of categories at the top and tools cards with thumbnail images. Includes Search functionality.
- Tool page. Contains a screenshot, a list of categories, URL Description with sub-sections, a button with link to site and "Related AI Tools" section which displays tools with similar categories .
- Catalog page. Same as Home page, but within the selected category.
Additional functionality:
