Create a web scrapping utility
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We are looking for someone who is experienced in web scraping
You need to be able to pull all property details based on parameters from Rightmove .co uk
We need 2 things
If we give the URL of a property you should be able to pull all details about that property.
And also the ability to pull all property details from their website so we are able to analyse and query that data
I think it will be a case of either calling their API or calling an HTTP URL and looking at the page source to be able to pick our details from that.
For e.g. view-source:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/98307446#/
Looking at this property’s view source we can see property full postcode etc.
Rightmove stores outcodes in their own format but that can be mapped to UK postcodes so it allows us to search the data set using the entered UK postcode.
They are using their API -
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/api/_search?locationIdentifier=REGION^93956&numberOfPropertiesPerPage=24&radius=0.0&sortType=2&index=3&includeSSTC=false&viewType=LIST&channel=BUY&areaSizeUnit=sqft¤cyCode=GBP&keywords=Auction&isFetching=false&maxPrice=140000
This must be down without impacting Rightmove and their servers.
