Comprehensive Website Scraping and Saving
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am in need of a seasoned web developer equipped with skills in website scraping. The expected outcome is to have a backup of a website that I can access in the future. The scraping process should include:
- Entire website content including text, images, and whole webpages.
- The final deliverable should be in HTML file format encompassing all the scraped data. Either it should be recreated in google sites or we could discuss a different website hosting option.
- Comprehensive scraping must be done, covering not just the publicly available data but also information contained within password-protected pages. I will provide the username and password.
Ideally, the freelancer should have proven experience in meticulous website scraping and strong skills in HTML file management. Previous experience in handling similar projects will be a significant plus. The aim is to perfectly mirror a website, maintaining the integrity of both its public and protected content. Due to the sensitive nature of the password-protected pages, strong professional ethics is required.
