Build An Activity Finder - Web Scraper (Web App)

The employer is looking for:
- An experienced software developer to build a web-app that scrapes the web for information regarding activities in a certain area (city/town) that are under the given budget for a specific number of people.

The core features of the web-app are:
- A user authentication system
- A database that stores the user information and uses previous search history for displaying more personalized search results in the future
- A search function that takes in budget, # of people, interests, allocated time and the area information to provide appropriate results
- A backend that will scrape the web and store activities in a database which will be used when a user searches for nearby activities
- A clean and easy to use front-end for the users/investors to demo the application

The word activity can mean a wide range of things. It could be a hotel stay, a museum trip, a skiing experience or a special activity that exists only in a certain city. Will be further explained by the employer. (This is the most important part of the algorithm that will drive the web app)
The web app is being developed as an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), therefore the algorithm is the main concern of the employer.

Example scenario: What can I do with a $100 budget with 2 people in 4hrs allocating 1hr for travel, in the city of Vancouver and my chosen interest is sports?
The app would provide results such as ice-skating, badminton/tennis courts, cycling activities and similar results.
