Basic website needs to scrape data
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Project Description: Basic website scraping for data from Wikipedia on a daily basis
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in web scraping tools and techniques
- Familiarity with data extraction from Wikipedia
- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate data extraction
- Ability to automate the scraping process for daily updates.
The website will be able to allow users to enter the name of two footballers (ideally drop down box with search function) and see if they played for the same club, either at the same time, or at different times. I would also like to be able to manipulate the data in other ways such as being able to enter two football clubs and seeing how many players played for both clubs, either at the same time or not.
