Automated Shipment ETA Data into Google Sheets
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a freelancer who can assist me in setting up an automated system to scrape live shipment ETA data into Google Sheets.
I will be manually entering container numbers, vessel names and a destination port.
Where you come in, is to create a system that will then use this data to automatically find and populate the latest vessel tracking into my Google sheet.
Simply put, I want to know the current ETA to my desired destination port.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a web scraping tool that can access live shipment ETA data
- Implement this tool into Google Sheets to automatically update the ETA column
- Ensure the system is user-friendly and reliable
Requirements:
- Experience in web scraping and data automation
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and setting up automated processes
- Ability to suggest and implement effective data sources for shipment ETA information
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Please note that we do not currently have access to the shipping company's data, so the freelancer will need to rely on web scraping methods for data collection. A successful candidate will be able to provide a solution that is efficient, accurate, and can be easily maintained.
