Wordpress Support- Setting up system for ongoing management
Budget: $50 – $0 AUD
We have self developed a wordpress/woocommerce website that has API connections to our ERP system. However we need technical support in several areas related to the correct way to manage Wordpress going forward.
We think we need the below, but would also like the Freelancer to provide additional advice and expertise to improve our understanding of the right way to host our web properties.
• Working with a Wordpress/Woocommerce website inside our server environment,
o Copy our current live site and create a development subdomain
o Create and document procedure for us to self manage updates in the subdomain and a robust method for loading updates to live site
o Suggest and create automatic back up procedures for the live site.
o All of the above to be documented, ideally automated and able to managed by us internally on a day to day basis.
• With the same website:
o Add a website security overlay to the live website
o Add some form of monitoring to the live website so we can be informed in the website goes down.
o Analyse our website for loading speed/problems and suggest improvements.
o Make sure that plugins we have used do not create conflicts, but if so, discuss where they are causing website poor performance.
