Static Site Host & Domain Migration
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need to move my static HTML/CSS website from its current server to a new hosting account and would like the domain transferred at the same time so everything ends up under one roof. I’m aiming for a smooth hand-off with no downtime, intact SSL, and URLs that behave exactly as they do now.
The site itself is straightforward—no databases, no CMS—so the job is mainly about cleanly copying the files, configuring the new cPanel (or equivalent), pointing DNS, and verifying that every page, asset, and redirect works once propagation finishes. I’ll provide full access to the existing hosting control panel and registrar as soon as we kick off.
Deliverables
• Complete file migration to the new host
• Domain transfer initiated and completed, including updated nameservers
• SSL re-issued or migrated so the padlock stays green
• Final check that all pages load correctly worldwide after DNS propagation (I’ll run a quick GTmetrix before/after as confirmation)
Once those four items are signed off, the project is done.
