Non-Profit Website Maintenance & Transfer
Budget: $20 – $25 USD
I manage a small non-profit and need a dependable partner to keep our WordPress site healthy, up-to-date, and securely hosted.
Scope of work
• Host migration – move the entire site from our current provider to a new environment. I’m considering a locally hosted setup, so experience configuring and hardening on-premise or VPS servers is essential.
• Content edits – swap or adjust text and images whenever our programs change. Turnaround on small updates should be quick (24–48 hrs).
• Functional fixes – hunt down and repair broken links, forms, or plugins that have stopped working.
• Ongoing care – schedule backups, apply core/plugin updates, monitor uptime, and be available for occasional troubleshooting.
Deliverables
1. Seamless transfer to the new host with zero downtime.
2. Clean, fully functional site after migration (no broken links or missing media).
3. Clear hand-off documentation covering server credentials, backup procedures, and a checklist for future updates.
4. Month-to-month maintenance plan detailing tasks and response times.
Familiarity with WordPress admin, cPanel/WHM (or comparable panels), SSL setup, and basic performance tweaks will help you succeed. If you can also provide the hosting space, let me know—otherwise, guide me through a solid local or VPS solution.
