Create a Content Management System

Job ID: 31298397

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

We are doing a market study which compares the different traceability products available on the market.

We intend to use a Content Management System to collect information from the product owners and share the information with stakeholders.

As such we wish to develop a web application which is browser based to present and/or compare different traceability solutions (products). For each product a set of fields is defined (similar to a questionnaire), where information can be filled in by the product company. Product company provides all details against these predetermined fields. On a regular basis this information has to be updated by the companies without filling everything again from scratch (i.e., data persistence required). A moderating party will validate the details entered by the product company and provide assurance for certain fields as filled correctly.

The web application needs to have following features:

-User management with following user types/roles
-Admin/host
-Content manager
-Product companies (up to 100)
-Registered visitors (only register to use the discussion board)

Product owners (ie. companies) can only edit their own product page

Product page will contain about 100 fields. These fields are editable in one of the following manners:
-Open text (length to be restricted)
-Single select (like a dropdown combobox or radio buttons)
-Multiple select (like a multi-select list or checkbox)
-Numerical

Search feature on products by specifying all fields

Compare products (up to 3) across fields

Upload photos

Upload videos (or just the links)

Revision option to `validate` content as correct

Discussion board to let visitors interact

Ability to let the host import / export content

Open approach to let other initiatives tap into system

Not in the scope of the application:
-No SEO priority
-No ERM priority
