CodeIgniter & WordPress Server Maintenance

Job ID: 40047189

Budget: $10 – $15 USD

I run several live sites that rely on CodeIgniter and WordPress, and I need an expert to keep the underlying server configuration healthy. The core of the job is ongoing website maintenance, but the emphasis is squarely on the server layer—making sure the stack stays secure, stable and responsive so both frameworks continue to perform at their best.

You’ll log in during agreed maintenance windows, review current settings, and apply the fixes or improvements we discuss beforehand. Typical work may touch PHP-FPM settings, web-server rules, database tuning, SSL renewals, firewall tweaks or similar tasks that directly affect CodeIgniter and WordPress uptime and speed. When a change is done, I expect a brief change log and a quick functional check of the two applications to confirm nothing broke.

Deliverables for each maintenance cycle:
• A short report outlining the configuration change(s) you propose
• Implementation of the approved changes on the server
• Post-change verification that both the CodeIgniter app and all WordPress sites load correctly
• A concise rollback plan recorded in the changelog

No code-level feature work is required at this stage—just tight, reliable server maintenance that keeps both platforms humming. If you have a proven record with CI, WP and hands-on server administration, I’d be happy to hear how you’d approach the first maintenance window.
