recipe website assistance
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m ready to take my personal recipe collection online and need a developer who can turn the vision into a polished, minimalist website that lets my dishes be the star of the show. The primary goal is straightforward: the site must elegantly showcase only my own recipes—no outside aggregation, no user-generated uploads.
Design direction
Think airy white space, subtle typography, and an uncluttered layout that guides visitors directly to each recipe. Responsive behavior is essential; the pages should feel just as refined on a phone as on a desktop.
Core requirements
• A lightweight, fast-loading front end with clean code (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or a preferred framework).
• Simple, intuitive navigation that organizes recipes by category and allows quick filtering or searching without overwhelming the design.
• Individual recipe pages featuring ingredient lists, step-by-step instructions, prep/cook times, and an optional image gallery.
• An easy-to-use back-end editor so I can keep adding new recipes without touching code—WordPress, headless CMS, or a custom admin dashboard are all fine as long as the editing experience stays minimal and distraction-free.
• Basic SEO best practices baked in from the start (semantic markup, metadata, and structured recipe schema).
Deliverables
– Fully functional, live website hosted on my domain
– All source files and documented instructions for future updates
– A brief handoff call or video walk-through so I’m comfortable managing content on my own
If you have a portfolio piece that reflects a clean, content-first aesthetic, I’d love to see it. Let’s create a cooking space that feels as crisp and satisfying as the recipes themselves.
