Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I need a full-featured e-commerce web application built from scratch, covering everything from the first line of code to a production-ready deployment. The core goal is simple: turn visitors into paying customers and make the site a reliable revenue generator.
Scope of work
• Design a clean, responsive storefront that works flawlessly on desktop and mobile browsers.
• Implement product catalog, advanced search, shopping cart, secure checkout, order tracking, and an admin dashboard for inventory, pricing, and promotions.
• Integrate popular payment gateways (Stripe and PayPal by default; I’m open to others if you have better suggestions).
• Add user account management with social login options and robust password reset flows.
• Build scalable architecture—cloud-hosted, containerized, and ready to handle traffic spikes without slowing down.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and PCI-DSS standards, including encrypted data at rest and in transit.
• Provide automated tests, clear documentation, and a step-by-step deployment guide so I can replicate or extend the setup later.
Preferred stack
Modern JavaScript or Python stacks feel right for this project—React or Vue on the front end paired with Node.js, Django, or a comparable framework on the back end. If you have a different tech mix that will reliably meet the performance and security targets above, pitch it.
Acceptance criteria
1. A live staging link showing all features working end-to-end.
2. Source code in a private Git repo with commits that match best practices.
3. README covering setup, environment variables, and CI/CD steps.
4. Passing unit and integration tests (minimum 80 % coverage).
5. Final hand-off call or screen share to walk me through deployment and key components.
