E-commerce Site with Square

I’m ready to launch a straightforward online store and need someone to take the build from zero to live. The core of the job is an e-commerce website that integrates Square as the sole payment gateway.

Here’s what I already know I need: a clean, responsive storefront, an intuitive product catalogue, and robust product search with filter options so shoppers can quickly narrow down size, color, price, or any other attributes we decide on. At checkout, every transaction must be processed securely through Square, with order confirmation and basic email notifications working from day one.

You are free to work with the platform or framework you’re most comfortable with—Shopify, WooCommerce, custom PHP/Laravel, or a modern JavaScript stack—as long as Square is fully supported, the admin area lets me add/edit products easily, and the final site can scale when I’m ready to turn on additional features like customer reviews or wish-lists later.

Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
• Fully-functional live site hosted on my domain
• Square payment gateway configured, tested, and passing live transactions
• Product search & multi-attribute filtering implemented across catalogue pages
• Admin dashboard with clear product, order, and customer management
• Mobile-first UI/UX and cross-browser compatibility
• Handover pack: source files, setup documentation, and a quick video/run-through so I can manage day-to-day tasks myself
