backend error in deployed full stack application

I have a deployed web application using a React Frontend and Strapi backend hosted on hostinger with the backend hosted on Hostinger's VPS.
I have an issue where the backend data is not being loaded into the front end website. This could be a server certificate expired issue or something more
Another freelancer setup the hosting for the backend and as part of the work and ran into a CORS issue so he had to create a cloudfare account to mitigare this and allow the front and backend to connect .
The backened was hosted by another freelancer so its possible as part of this work, you would have to redeploy the backend server on hostinger vps
