• Lightning-fast catalogue browsing and an advanced yet intuitive search so visitors can jump from product idea to checkout in seconds.
• A rock-solid checkout that supports multiple payment options out of the box—major cards, PayPal, local wallets, and room to plug in new gateways later—without ever compromising security or PCI compliance.
• Scalable architecture (micro-services or modular monolith, whichever achieves high traffic tolerance with minimal latency).
• Mobile-first responsive design and clear UX that makes comparing specs, reading reviews, and completing purchases effortless.
• SEO-friendly structure, clean URLs, and schema ready for Google Shopping to push global reach from day one.

Technical preferences
React or Vue on the front end, a performant back end such as Node/Express or Django, and a relational database that can handle millions of SKUs. If another stack suits the performance targets better, I’m open to hearing why. Cloud hosting should allow one-click horizontal scaling, CDN image delivery, and automated backups.
