WordPress Update & AWS Migration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need my legacy WordPress site (v4.6.20 running on PHP 7.4.1 / Windows Server) refreshed and given a new home on AWS Lightsail. I would like you to spin up an AWS-based staging environment first—AWS is my chosen cloud service—where you can safely import the site, upgrade WordPress, the active theme, and every plugin, then resolve any PHP compatibility hiccups you find. A full malware and file-integrity check is essential before we move anything into production.
Once the staging copy is stable, please migrate it to a fresh Lightsail instance, enable HTTPS (Let’s Encrypt or another free TLS option is fine), and run a final round of functional tests so the live site launches error-free.
Deliverables
• AWS staging instance with the site fully updated and functional
• Clean security scan report showing no malicious code or suspicious files
• Production Lightsail instance with HTTPS enabled and the site live
• Post-migration test summary confirming pages, forms, and admin login work as expected
If this goes smoothly, I have up to six additional sites that will need the exact same treatment, so thorough documentation of the steps you take will be highly appreciated.
