WordPress Staging Redesign & SEO Preservation

I need a developer who can safely rebuild my WordPress site on a staging environment, then push the refreshed design live without touching any existing URLs. My biggest SEO priority is keeping the current site structure and navigation fully intact, so permalinks, menus, and breadcrumbs must behave exactly as they do now once the redesign is published.

While you work, please compare my parent theme with its child theme. I only need the functionality and custom-code differences audited and fixed—styling is fine as is. Any template overrides, hooks, or snippets that have drifted out of sync should be merged cleanly so future updates remain painless.

I’m also seeing a handful of PHP fatal errors in the error_log. Track down their source (plugins, theme files, or custom functions), eliminate them, and give me a clean log when you’re done.

Finally, strengthen the site’s topical clusters and internal linking. That means mapping related pages/posts, adding contextual links where gaps exist, and ensuring each cluster is easily crawled.

• Before/after report proving all PHP fatal errors are resolved

Acceptance criteria: every permalink resolves, no fatal errors in the log for 48 hours, and Search Console shows no new crawl issues after launch. Yoast/RankMath, WP-CLI, and standard backup tools are available on the server to streamline your workflow.
