Build Professional WordPress Website for Microsoft 365 Consulting Company

PROJECT OVERVIEW

I am seeking an experienced WordPress developer to build a professional website for Sandoval Solutions, a Microsoft 365 consulting company.

The website's purpose is to establish credibility, clearly communicate our services, and generate consultation requests from small and mid-sized businesses.

An approved homepage mockup, homepage content, branding direction, and hero image have already been developed. I am looking for a developer who can professionally implement the approved design within WordPress while ensuring the website remains easy to maintain and update in the future.

The attached Homepage Mockup V6 is the primary project deliverable and design reference. It should be reviewed before submitting a proposal.

The primary question we help organizations answer is:

"How should we build and organize Microsoft 365 for our business?"

PROJECT GOALS

The completed website should:

- Present a modern and professional appearance
- Clearly communicate services and value
- Establish trust and credibility
- Generate consultation requests
- Be fully responsive on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Load quickly and perform well
- Be easy for the owner to maintain and update

CONTENT CONTROL

Website content has been intentionally written by the owner and should be implemented as provided.

Content should not be rewritten, expanded, condensed, embellished, or replaced without approval.

This project is primarily a website implementation project rather than a copywriting or marketing project.

CONTENT PROVIDED

The selected freelancer will receive:

- Homepage Mockup V6
- Homepage content
- Hero image
- Logo files
- Branding assets

PROJECT SCOPE

The homepage is the primary deliverable for this project and has already been planned, structured, and written.

Initial pages should include:

- Home
- About
- Contact

The About page should contain basic company information and be structured for future expansion.

The Contact page should contain a contact form and be structured for future expansion.

Additional pages may be added by the owner in the future.

The objective is to establish a professional website foundation that can be easily expanded and maintained over time.

The homepage structure has already been defined and approved.

The homepage will include:

The homepage includes a primary "Schedule a Consultation" call to action. The Contact page may serve as the consultation request destination.

DESIGN FIDELITY

Homepage Mockup V6 should be treated as the primary design reference.

Minor adjustments for responsiveness, accessibility, and technical implementation are expected. Significant design changes should not be made without approval.

The objective is to accurately implement the approved design direction, not to redesign, reinterpret, or substantially alter it.

VISUAL DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

The preferred design style is clean, professional, and straightforward.

Visual effects should support usability and professionalism rather than serve as design features.

Significant animations, parallax scrolling effects, scrolling backgrounds, or other attention-grabbing visual effects should not be added without approval.

BRANDING AND DESIGN DIRECTION

The website should present a clean, modern, and professional appearance consistent with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

The preferred design direction should be inspired by Microsoft's overall design philosophy, including:

- Clean layouts
- Strong use of white space
- Professional typography
- Simple visual hierarchy
- A color palette influenced by Microsoft 365 branding

The website should not copy Microsoft's website but should feel familiar to organizations that use Microsoft 365.

WEBSITE OWNERSHIP AND MAINTAINABILITY

This is a critical requirement.

The website must be built using standard WordPress functionality and must remain fully maintainable by the owner after project completion.

The completed website must allow the owner to:

- Edit all text content
- Replace images
- Add, remove, and reorganize sections
- Modify page layouts
- Create new pages
- Modify navigation menus
- Update buttons and links
- Maintain the website without custom coding

The completed website must not require ongoing developer involvement for routine content updates or site maintenance tasks.

The use of proprietary systems, locked-down builders, custom frameworks, or development approaches that limit future editing is not acceptable.

Kadence is the preferred implementation approach, but equivalent solutions will be considered if they fully satisfy these requirements.

OWNERSHIP OF DELIVERABLES

Upon final payment, all website content, design assets, graphics, configurations, and deliverables created specifically for this project will become the property of Sandoval Solutions.

The completed website must not depend upon the continued involvement of the freelancer for ownership, administration, or routine maintenance.

DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT

Development work will be performed on a separate WordPress development site.

Access to the production website will not be provided during development.

The selected freelancer will build and test the website in the development environment and provide the completed site for review and approval before deployment to production.

REVISIONS

Please include a minimum of two revision rounds following the initial website delivery.

TIMELINE

Please provide your estimated timeline for project completion.

My preference is for the project to be completed within 2–4 weeks.

DELIVERABLES

The selected freelancer will provide:

- Completed WordPress website
- Homepage implementation based on Homepage Mockup V6
- About page with basic company information
- Contact page with contact form
- Responsive mobile design
- Basic SEO setup
- Brief owner walkthrough for future edits

PROJECT COMPLETION

The project will be considered complete when:

- The homepage has been implemented according to the approved design direction
- The agreed pages have been created
- The website functions correctly on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- All agreed revisions have been completed
- The owner has been provided with a basic walkthrough for future maintenance

ONGOING SUPPORT

This project is for website design and implementation only.

Ongoing maintenance services are not required as part of this engagement.

FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES

Sandoval Solutions has a related company called Business Productivity Training (BPT).

The selected freelancer may be offered a separate follow-on project to build a companion website for BPT following successful completion of this project.

PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS

Please include:

- Examples of previous WordPress projects
- Examples of professional services websites
- Relevant WordPress experience
- Estimated timeline
- Fixed-price quote
- A brief explanation of how your proposed solution will ensure the website remains easy for a non-developer owner to maintain and update
- Confirmation that you reviewed Homepage Mockup V6 before submitting your proposal

Proposals that do not demonstrate familiarity with Homepage Mockup V6 may be given lower consideration.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Selection will be based on:

- Quality of portfolio
- Communication skills
- Understanding of the project
- Ability to follow the approved design direction
- Ease of future maintenance
- Overall value

The lowest bid will not necessarily be selected.
