WordPress Site Refinement & Upgrade

I’m looking for a seasoned WordPress developer to take my already-live site to the next level. The brief is threefold:

• Design & Layout

– Re-work the overall page structure so content flows logically and key actions are obvious.
– Polish the interface by tightening fonts, colours and visual cues for a cleaner, more modern feel.

• Functionality

– Add a reliable Order Tracking module that lets customers check status in real time.
– Implement or improve Payment Integration so checkout is friction-free and securely processes all major cards.

• Performance

– Optimise load times through image compression, asset minification, caching and any server-side tweaks that make sense. My target is a sub-2-second first meaningful paint on both desktop and mobile.

Please start by auditing the current setup, then outline the exact steps, plugins or custom code you’d use. I value clean, maintainable solutions that won’t break on future updates, so best-practice coding standards and staging-to-live deployment are a must.
