WordPress Malware Cleanup & Update

The task is straightforward: purge every trace of malware from my current WordPress site, bring the whole installation up to date, and lock it down so it stays clean.

I need a full sweep of core files, themes, and the database, followed by fresh installs or patches of anything that was compromised. Once the site is healthy, the job moves on to modernising its look, refreshing the written content, and replacing or upgrading any plugins that are out-of-date or redundant.

Deliverables
• Complete malware scan and manual removal, confirmed by a clean Google Safe Browsing report
• Updated WordPress core, themes, and all active plugins with no functionality loss
• Visual refresh of the layout (I’ll provide style preferences) and updated page copy where required
• Installation and configuration of a security layer—firewall, daily automated backups, and scheduled scans (Wordfence, Sucuri or similar)
• Final hand-off report summarising changes, credentials, and simple maintenance steps

When everything is finished, the site should load error-free, remain infection-free for at least a week of monitoring, and be fully protected against common attack vectors.
