WordPress Film Job Board
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have a WordPress theme and want it turned into a fully-functioning job hub for the film industry.
The site needs to let producers and casting managers post production gigs while actors and crew create public profiles that showcase portfolio with text, images, and video reels.
Visitors may browse everything without logging in, but once they want to post, apply, or chat they should be able to sign up quickly with either classic email/password or their preferred social media account.
Core functions I need added or refined:
• Dynamic search that filters listings and talent profiles by both location and job type/role.
• Front-end profile builder that supports text, images, and video uploads and outputs a clean, searchable page for each member.
• Secure, real-time chat between a gig poster and an applicant, visible from each user’s dashboard.
• Automated email alerts when a new gig is published and again when an applicant is marked “hired.”
Please base everything on standard WordPress best practices—custom post types, Advanced Custom Fields, or similar tools—so future updates remain simple. I’m happy to license premium plugins if they shorten the build, but the final product must feel seamless and stay lightweight.
Deliverables I will review for sign-off:
1. Child theme or plugin containing all custom code.
2. Fully configured front-end pages for posting gigs, building profiles, and searching.
3. Working social login, chat, and email notification flows on a staging site.
4. A short hand-off document outlining key settings and how to add new fields later.
