WordPress Event Booking Site

I’m looking for a WordPress developer who can spin up a clean, reliable site that lets visitors book events online and reach me easily through well-structured contact forms. I’m fine working with an off-the-shelf theme, so there’s no need for deep theme or template redesign—focus your time on getting the functionality right.

Here’s what I need:

• A straightforward event-booking system where guests can view available dates, reserve a spot, and receive automatic confirmation emails. Tools like The Events Calendar, Amelia, or another lightweight booking plugin are perfect as long as they integrate smoothly and keep the admin side intuitive.
• Solid page setup: a home page, events page, contact page, and a default blog page so I can add updates later.
• Basic security and speed settings (captcha on forms, caching plugin, image compression) so everything runs smoothly from day one.

Deliverables are complete when:
1. I can publish a new event, set capacity, and see bookings in the dashboard.
2. Visitors can submit the contact form and I receive the notification email.
3. All pages display correctly on mobile and desktop, with load times under three seconds on standard tests.
