WordPress Comments & Feature Cleanup

I have a live WordPress site installed through Softaculous WordPress Manager and I’d like to hand you a full copy to work on in your own development environment. Once the job is complete I’ll migrate the cleaned-up code back to production.

The highest-priority task is to eliminate every front-end area where visitors can post comments. That includes blog posts, pages, products—anywhere the native WordPress system or a plugin might expose a comment box. I don’t want a substitute such as a contact form or newsletter prompt; the sections should simply disappear.

While you’re in there, I also want to disable public testimonial submissions. The existing testimonials that I entered need to stay visible, but users must no longer see a way to add their own.

Finally, the site has picked up some malware. I’m not sure which files are infected, so you’ll need to run a full scan, identify the compromised files, clean or replace them, and confirm the installation is malware-free before handing the code back.

Deliverables
• Comment functionality fully removed across the entire site
• Public testimonial submission disabled, existing testimonials retained
• Malware scan report and proof of clean files (log or screenshot)
• Exported, cleaned copy of the site ready for me to re-upload
