WordPress Admission Status Page
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
Our school website already runs on WordPress and follows a specific theme. I now need an additional page, styled exactly like the rest of the site, where parents can type a single piece of information—their child’s registration number—and instantly see one of two outcomes:
• Selected (with an obvious green-style icon)
• Wait-listed (with a contrasting icon)
No other fields are necessary. After the number is submitted, the result should appear inline on the same page so parents aren’t redirected elsewhere.
Behind the scenes I would like a simple way to maintain the master list of registration numbers and their statuses—CSV upload, an admin-side table, or any other straightforward method that doesn’t require coding every time we update results.
Acceptance criteria
1. Page matches current theme fonts, colours, header and footer.
2. Single input field labelled “Registration Number” with server-side sanitisation.
3. Instant status return with the specified icons and clear text.
4. Easy data-management option for me (CSV import or similar).
5. Clean, lightweight code (plugin, shortcode, or template) that will not conflict with existing plugins.
6. Responsive layout and tested across the latest versions of Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
7. Handover includes brief installation notes or a short Loom walkthrough.
Once delivered and tested on a staging sub-page, I will move it live myself, so please keep deployment steps minimal.
