Windows 11 Search Fix
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My Windows 11 Start-menu / taskbar search now hangs on a never-ending spinner. No results ever appear, even after a full reboot. The problem began right after the latest round of system updates, and I have not run any troubleshooting steps yet.
I’m somewhat comfortable following technical directions, but I’d prefer an experienced Windows troubleshooter who can:
• Identify the root cause of the stuck search (e.g., corrupt index, Cortana/SearchHost issues, registry or policy conflicts, update remnants).
• Guide me through safe fixes or, if faster, connect remotely (Quick Assist, AnyDesk, or similar) to apply them.
• Verify the search bar returns instant results for common queries and confirm the index is healthy before finishing.
• Provide a concise list of the commands, registry edits, or PowerShell scripts used so I can document the solution for future reference.
Please let me know your plan of attack and how soon you can start—the sooner this is resolved, the better.
