Wedding Marketplace Development
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building a full-featured wedding marketplace modeled after TheKnot.com and need the complete platform engineered from the ground up.
Core sections
• Vendor listings – searchable, filterable profiles where partners can manage photos, pricing, availability and receive enquiries.
• Wedding planning tools – a checklist, budget tracker and guest list manager that logged-in couples can update in real time.
• Inspiration & ideas – blog-style articles, mood boards and photo galleries that couples can save to personal boards.
User roles & access
Separate logins are required for guests, vendors and wedding planners. Each role should see its own dashboard, permissions and notifications while sharing a unified design language. An admin panel must let me approve vendors, moderate content and monitor transactions.
Monetisation & payments
Please integrate Stripe (credit/debit cards) for subscription plans and one-off featured listings. I may add PayPal or bank transfers later, so structure the payment layer for easy extension.
Technical expectations
• Modern, responsive front-end (React, Vue or similar) with fast search and smooth filtering.
• Scalable back-end (Node, Laravel, Django—open to your recommendation) with REST or GraphQL API.
• Secure authentication, GDPR-ready data handling and SEO-friendly routing.
• Clean code, commented and pushed to a private Git repo with weekly check-ins.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional web application deployed to my cloud account.
2. Source code with documentation covering setup, tech stack and deployment steps.
3. A brief hand-over session (video or written) so my team can manage basic content and users.
Acceptance will be based on flawless role switching, successful Stripe test transactions and performance above 90 / 100 on Google Lighthouse mobile metrics.
