Website Functionality & Navigation Overhaul Phase 2

Job ID: 40509719

Budget: £100 – £1,000 GBP

My current site works, but only just—I’m now ready to tighten up the codebase and make the user journey smoother. The priority is functionality: pages should load snappily, interactive elements must behave predictably, and the back-end logic needs a quick health-check so future features slot in easily.

Alongside that, I want to tidy the layout. The navigation menu is first in line: cleaner structure, clearer hierarchy, full responsiveness, and an intuitive mobile toggle. While the look of the menu can stay close to the existing style guide, I’m open to subtle UX-driven tweaks if they help visitors find content faster.

I’ll supply repo access, staging credentials, and a short list of pain points discovered through user feedback. All code changes should be committed in well-documented pull requests so I can review each step. Let’s keep dependencies lean—vanilla JS or lightweight frameworks preferred over bulky add-ons unless absolutely necessary.

Deliverables
• Refactored navigation menu (desktop & mobile)
• Fixes or enhancements that restore/boost any broken site functions discovered during the update
• Brief changelog and deployment notes

If this sounds like your wheelhouse, tell me how you’d tackle the nav overhaul and what stack you’d lean on.
