Website Development with Live Features
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m building a full-featured online store and need the core application developed in PHP, while Node.js handles every real-time element. The store must cover the essentials—secure cart and checkout flows, individual user accounts with order history, and a fast product catalogue with robust search and filtering—but the real differentiator is a live-streaming component that lets me showcase products in real time and interact with shoppers as they watch.
Here’s what success looks like for me:
• A responsive front end that renders quickly on mobile and desktop.
• PHP-based business logic powering product, order, and user management.
• A Node.js microservice (WebSocket or similar) that delivers a stable livestream feed, complete with viewer count, chat overlay, and the ability for viewers to add showcased items straight to their cart.
• Payment gateway integration, SSL, and best-practice security throughout.
• Clean, well-documented code so my in-house team can maintain and extend features later.
Please keep the stack lean, avoid heavy plugins where custom code will perform better, and comment where third-party libraries are indispensable. A brief hand-off session or video walkthrough at the end will confirm everything runs as described on my staging server.
