I'm seeking an experienced web developer to create a website for me -
MedVoyage – Project Brief
Overview
MedVoyage is a digital platform designed to help internationally trained doctors transition into the Australian healthcare system. The aim is to simplify the registration, licensing, and job placement process by providing structured tools, pre-filled documents, and clear step-by-step guidance.
This is not just an information site. It will be an interactive platform with dashboards, smart document tools, and (later) community/job features.
Core Features (Phase 1 – MVP)
These are the first things to build:
1. AHPRA-Ready Résumé Builder
Online form where doctors input their details (education, work history, hours, supervisors).
System outputs a CV in the exact format required by AHPRA (DOCX/PDF).
Template stored in the backend and auto-fills user data into correct format.
Goal: Doctors can instantly create a compliant CV without worrying about formatting.
2. Smart Document Hub
Dashboard with common pre-structured AHPRA documents (employment verification, CPD summaries, statutory declarations, etc.).
Doctor fills in their profile once → info is auto-filled across all documents.
Files downloadable anytime.
Goal: Saves doctors from rewriting the same information in multiple forms.
3. Pathway Dashboard (Registration Guidance)
On sign-up, user selects their pathway:
Standard pathway
Competent Authority
Specialist pathway
AMC exams, etc.
The system generates a step-by-step checklist with tasks, deadlines, and links.
Simple progress tracker: “What’s next?”
Goal: A personalised guide for each doctor’s journey.
4. Knowledge Hub (Blog/Guides)
Articles + FAQs written in plain English.
Topics: AHPRA, AMC, visas, interviews, rural jobs, etc.
Searchable knowledge base.
Goal: Provides free value and improves SEO (traffic).
Future Features (Phase 2 & 3)
Only after MVP is stable:
Exam Prep & Discounts: Partner with training providers to give discounts.
Career Board: Doctors can see jobs that fit their registration type.
Mentorship & Community: Forums, Q&A, mentor matching.
1:1 Paid Services: Offer resume/document reviews as upsell.
Monetisation (Revenue Streams)
Subscriptions: Paid access to résumé builder & smart document hub.
Upsell Services: Paid expert review of documents/CVs.
Recruitment Fees: Charging organisations for job listings.
Partnerships: Discount codes with exam prep companies.
Technical Requirements (Simplified)
Front-end: Wix, Webflow, or WordPress (simple UI for MVP).
Back-end: Database to store doctor profiles (secure).
Doc Generation: PDF/DOCX auto-generation (use libraries like Docxtemplater or PDFKit).
Dashboard: User login, profile, progress tracker.
Blog: Simple CMS for articles and guides.
First Deliverables (What to Build Now)
Landing Page (explains mission, services, CTA → Sign Up).
Sign Up / Log In system.
Profile form (collects user data).
Resume auto-generator (AHPRA compliant).
Smart Document Hub (basic version with a few forms).
Blog section.
